Updating MB BIOS to solve high CPU Usage in Windows 10

I have now a freshly installed Windows 10 and it shows 100% CPU usage by system interrupt and other processes. Now I searched online and some found that updating MB bios solved the issue. Those had the sandy bridge systems just like mine. Now my MB is Asus P8P67 Pro (not the B3). I want to know if it is safe to update the BIOS https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_PRO/HelpDesk_Download/

to the latest one listed in the link above?

So I summed up my concerns into the following questions:

1. Is it safe to upgrade to the BIOS listed above?

2. How to update the BIOS? The best way? Shall I download it on a USB drive or make it download it on its own?

3. Is there a way to go back if things get ugly and how to do it?

Also if you have any solution to the 100% CPU usage, please feel free to share them.

Yes of course, you are getting your drivers from the manufacturer

Easiest, safest and quickest way is to extract the zip or what ever file they give you upon download and place it in a flash drive, after that boot up in to the BIOS then navigate to find BIOS update, then browse the local files to find the correct file

Yes, you just find the previous BIOS ver. file on the website you linked and download it and follow the procedure above.

Well as I read online, there are some BIOS for P8P67 Pro that are for the B3 version. Mine is B2, so which BIOS should I download from Asus website?

And did anyone try and update the BIOS of the P8P67 Pro ? I want to know if someone tried it and see what they experienced with it.
