My faithful Technics SUZ990 is starting to falter, it's been my go to amp for my speakers for almost 8 years, I absolutely love it, and it even drives my hifimans surprisingly well, I like it more than my schiit oddly enough.

Anyway, I'm going to have to put it on the back burner until I can repair it. In the meantime I need to find something modest to drive my micca mb42x. Preferably under $120.

I really don't need a dac integrated or anything that makes a decent HP and, as I have a xfi titanium hd with rolled opamps and a magni 2 uber.

Was looking at http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-dta-120-class-t-mini-amplifier-60-wpc--300-3800

Thoughts? Recommendations?

One time I flipped that pretty red switch on the back of the power supply...

You can normally find some decent older stuff at thrift shops for super cheap. Even if you have to get 2-3, you'll still probably spend $60.

True, I should have added that I was hoping to get something in a small form factor, I don't have alot of desk real estate, the only reason I tolerate the technics' size, while it isn't massive, is because I like the sound signature so much :P
