You're probably going to want an FX 8 core for streaming on the cheap

and you should wait for the RX 460, it'll be faster than the 750ti at the same price, and should you ever get a 1080p 144hz display, it would save you money with free-sync

Also, we gotta like toootally step you up to dota 2 man, isn't that like a national sport over there?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

You'd have to find some benchmarks, but an i3 6100 is fine for normal gaming, but when it comes to streaming it has 2 cores/4 threads, it's going to be pretty weak for that, not sure if it could even do it, an i5 has enough trouble as it is,

On topic, I would avoid Asus low end motherbards because they have a horrible track record on the low end. Go for MSI, Gigabyte or AsRock.

So if i go i5 what would you recommend? And will the videocard be fine if i go i5?

If you want to do streaming on the cheap, an FX 8 core is going to be your best option, I can stream dota 2 at 1080p with my 8300 @ 4.5ghz and it's far more intensive than LoL I'm pretty sure

Otherwise buy a last gen Xeon 1231v3

Spoiler

Or I guess they have the 1230 v5 for skylake $259 USD, but you need a, what is, C32 motherboard? for 1151 to use Xeons, on 1150 you could just use i7s and Xeons on the same chipset

Scratch the skylake Xeon, there'd be no point for skylake since the motherboards that support it are more expensive, putting it at the same price as the i7 6700 in the end

The Rx 460 would be fine with it. I don't know how long it takes new products to get to your region so I have no idea if it's a good idea to tell you to wait.

Fuck yeah League! And yeah, one of the cheaper 6-8 core FXs will probably be your best bet. If you can spring for it, the 1231v3. Make sure you get a quality PSU.
