Does the asrock fatal1ty h170 performance so sli?

I believe only select Z170 motherboards support SLI. So no.

Besides, SLI has too many issues associated with it to the extent that you're likely to not get a seamless experience. Better off to get one stronger card rather two weaker ones.

It's not hard to look at the specs page and realize that it doesn't...

H series board only support CF

only the Z series have support for both SLi and CF

but not all Z boards have SLi

those super budget Z boards like the MSI Z170 PC Mate only support CF

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

H170 does not allow SLI at all. its a chipset limitation. the only skylake chipset that allows SLI is the Z170. But that being said, not all Z170's can SLI either. Make sure to check your motherboard specifications before buying.  It will very clearly state if it is SLI capable or not (crossfire is not the same as SLI)

wait for the benchmarks for the single RX 480 performance

also to note that CF with PCI-E x4 is terrible esp when they uses the PCI-E lanes for communications between the GPU

sure single wont be affected

but it matters when you are CF with high end GPUs like the Fury/X/nano R9 390/X etc
