Help choose a motherboard

Just bought a  Asus Maximus VIII Ranger i found a good deal on it.
$263 not bad for Australian prices.

So I've just pre-orded a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 (new build) and i need a motherboard for the I7 6700k i bought previously. The problem is i live in Australia and we get price gauged pretty bad.
I've heard people recommend the  MSI Z170A GAMING M5 but the cheapest i can find that board including delivery is $315 Aud would you still recommend this board at that price? Or are there better options?

What would you recommend between the  Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 and the Asus Z170 Pro Gaming?  The asus only has 3 stars on newegg the gigabyte has 4.
