New 1080 Build

I have my first build that i have been looking at for quite some time now and i feel pretty confident on all the parts except the gpu, i am not sure what brand of the 1080 i should get and how the brand effects the build. Pretty solid build I just don't like Hitachi that much. They have made some good drives and some bad ones. I usually stick to WD but that is just my experience.

I usually recommend this as the maxed out build. Compared to Paul's build you're getting:

 

- A cheaper motherboard with the same features

- A moderately better CPU cooler

- Moderately faster RAM (it does affect game performance)

- A better case (the H440 is said to run pretty hot, and the 1080 doesn't like hot ambient temps).

- Less SSD storage, although I don't know how a typical end-user would manage to fill out 500GB of SSD space considering stuff like pictures / video footage can go on the HDD. The form factor is a bonus.

- Significantly better power supply. The NEX is decent, but the P2 is Tier 1.
