Disable automatic windows 10 driver updates?

Go to solution Solved by EarthboundHero,

If you use DDU to uninstall the driver, it will automatically disable drive installs.

Long story short, the latest intel hd drivers that windows keeps trying to install are causing some issues on my laptop. The issue is that if I install an older driver that works properly, windows 10 automatically updates it within a few reboots.

From my time looking around the settings app, there isnt really any option that lets me disable these updates...

Any help would be appreciated.

So if I use DUU to uninstall the current driver, then install the one that works, windows wont automatically update it after a while?

Any possibilities of issues like black screens after uninstalling the driver? Because of nvidia optimus the nvidia gpu goes through the intel chip, so if the drivers for that arent there, would I be left with a black screen?

I have no clue, I've never heard of anything like that.
