Hey guys, I just got  a new Laptop for Uni and want to have my files for Uni shared on my tower at home and also on the laptop.

I like to do work on the go and am looking for a way that let's me have the same data on both devices. Are there cloud services/software solutions that allow me to automatically download changed items to both once they connect to the internet so I can use them once I go somewhere without WiFi.

I am a pretty broke student so it would be ideal if I could find a free solution. I need space for about 10gb of data. I hope this is the right place to post, I couldn't find anything in "Storage" or "Software" with the search function. I am also not certain what to look for, is there easy to use software, should I utilise a cloud service or both combined?

any of the cloud based storage services will work. Onedrive, Google drive, or dropbox would be my suggestions. They all offer a small amount of data free, but you have to may montly for more data. If 10gb is all you need, i would suggest google drive. You get 15gb of data free, and you can install a client on your computers that essentially give you a shared folder.

I think this fits better in programs & websites, since you're look for the right cloud service provider

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I am not sure if it is a cloud service I am looking for if there is a program that I can use to sync data between my tower and laptop before I leave that would be fine as well as I am currently using the full capacity of my google cloud.
Dropbox doesn't have the capacity I need for free at least sadly.
I haven't used mega.nz but will look into it.
I appreciate if there were more suggestions.

Bittorrent Sync would be an option. You set it to monitor folders and do changes according to latest change in there. Or you can set folder to be only read from second device so if you delete something, it re-syncs what in the original.
