So I think my Swiftech H220 pump is dying a slow death. I can hear small rattles every so often from the pump, more so if it ramps up. I just did a full flush and rinse on it yesterday to ensure no gunk or debris stuck in the unit that I can get out. I also noticed my temps are not quite as low as they could/should be, right now I idle around 35c and when I run XTU I get upwards of nearly 80c after 5 minutes. So I am going to look into replacing it and I think I am going to go with THIS. I do have a question if anyone has experience with this kit.

The pump/reservoir, is it mountable to a rear 120mm fan port? Trying to avoid mounting it at the bottom of my case and having tubing riding up. I cant seem to locate a good review or pictures of it installed on the internet to give me my answer.

yeah the 220 is a crap cooler, get rid of that asap before it leaks like it has for other people

that EK kit is good

watercooling kits from EK or XSPC are reliable as long as you know how to put them together properly :)

far better than a sealed or "expandable" AIO

and yes you can mount it to your rear fan, but you need to make sure the fluid is above the pump intake so no bubbles get drawn in

having it mounted to the bottom of the case looks better though

there is no problem with tubing going up

I have had no issues with my 220 until recently so its been good for me the past 2+ years I have had it. I know there is no problem with tubing going up, but I am picky with looks. Here is how my current setup looks. Took this after I got done doing my flush and drain tonight and putting the clear tubing on and my Mayhems pastel red in.
