Looking for compatible DSL modem

imamac

Hey guys,

So recently my ISP made some new rules were I can no longer buy a an approved DSL modem from them and urging us to "only" rent from them. However I found out that I can use 3rd party modem, but my ISP is being annoying and won't tell me the specs/tech used for their modem, but lucky for me I was able to find the data sheet for what type of modem they use, it's an ARRIS NVG 343. http://www.arris.com/globalassets/resources/data-sheets/nvg34x_datasheet_20150501.pdf I've been told by tech support from my ISP that the modem needs to be for VDSL2 and a bonded connection. So I've been scouring the internet for an compatiable VDSL2 modem and I think I've hit the jackpot but I'm not sure, its a TP-Link N600, http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/cat-15_TD-W9980.html#overview . I've emailed TP-link to ask to see if it's compatible, but they haven't answered my emails. I've pulled the spec sheets of each, and let me know what you guys think. Btw my ISP is Windstream

Thanks in advance

You can get just about any ADSL2 modem and it will work:
