I wanna get Into mining, I currently have an i3 with a gtx 660 oc. I want to mine ethereum but I just dont know if it will be worth it. The i3 is in my personal setup but I have more or less 5 i5 2300 at school that I can use and I dont have to pay for power. Is it worth it? They dont have graphics cards, Best I can get is 2  gt8600 each.

is the 660 the 2GB variant (do you not have a 660ti, your signature claims so)? If it's not at lease a 2GB card then there's no chance. If you really wanna try (if it's a 2GB card) then get cudaminer and see what hashrate you can get. Once you get your hashrate, use this calculator to calculate whether it's worth it or not :D. (hashrates people state online aren't always true as it varies quite a bit actually. An good example of this is one of my 7950s clocked a 925mhz on the core can only get 16MH/s while my best 7950 is only clocked at 800Mhz and is getting 21MH/s :D).

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

mining uses very little bandwidth, I guess you could just go for it as it's still like $50-100 per month monies :D (I have no idea what the hashrate is so...yeh :/

it works but it's Opencl vs using cuda to mine so...you're gonna get a lower hashrate...that's the only difference :D

you can use it with windows, it's the same thing as ethminer, a program that uses cuda instead of opencl :)
