i think its a wifi module but not sure. pictures tell you all! and its from a laptop. also that fork-remembering metal piece on the first picture is an antenna.

but because it has 4 wires is it possible that it is usb based? if yes then coud this work like a usb wifi dongle???

Why not put the first line of numbers/letters of the second pic in g00gle... g00gle will tell you what it is.
