Any thoughts? For the PSU, I'm wondering I can bump it down to a 500W bronze power supply by EVGA? Is it possible to do so?

Other than that, tell me what your opinions are.

You could but I'd honestly stick with your current PSU. It's much higher quality. Otherwise the build itself looks solid.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

dont get a 2gb VRAM gpu in 2016, you're gunna run into some problems. If anything I would recommend you wait until the rx 480 comes out at the end of the month. And I mean you could bump it down to a 500w if you wanted to.

My Main PC:

CPUi5 3570k CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4 Motherboard: Asus p8z77-v pro  RAM: Crucial Balistic 2x4gb  GPU: Two PNY GTX 680's in SLI Case: Some rando Antec one  PSU: Thermaltake 1000w  Display: HP Elite Display 321i 23''  Storage: Samsung 840 Evo 128gb, Seagate Barracuda 1tb

2GB is not good anymore for 1080p gaming?

What is this build for?

What resolution will you work and/or game at?

What's your budget?

Do you have any old desktops? If yes, their specs please.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

no, not really. I get up into 3 or 4 gigs in games like gta v, arma, far cry, etc

Student/Gaming is the purpose. I play at 800x600. I plan to play at 1920x1080 maybe on medium/high settings. My budget is roughly $570-$630. I have an old HP. i5 2400, 4GB 667 mhz, 250gb WD HDD.

Hmm. You could still get some life out of the Sandy Bridge CPU.

Is it a pre-built computer?

What GPU are you using currently?

What Power Supply do you have?

A picture of the internals would be helpful.

I'm trying to determine what parts can be re-used from your old PC. ;)

It is a prebuilt computer from HP. THe exact model is HP Elite 8200 SFF https://www.amazon.com/Compaq-Elite-Factor-SP678UP-3-1GHz/dp/B00TRO5Q36. I'm using integrated CPU (intel 2000). The PSU is the one that is with the SFF. I really don't think we should reuse any parts due to it being so old, and the selection of sandy bridge stuff is gone now.

Yeah, everything looks too slow to re-use. And unless you're going all used, hunting for a Sandy Bridge motherboard is pointless.

Here is my recommendation:
