About memory compatibility

Hello guys i need to ask a question i dont quite understand this 2300mhz (o.c) thingy and the 2133mhz one has no (o.c) on in does that mean i can put ram 2300mhz out of the box or i need a defult clock speed ram which is 2133mhz and overclock it???

2300mhz Ram would work but the board will start it underclocked at 2133mhz. you just "OC" with XMP it to its default speed. my DDR3 1600 started at 1333, I set it to 1600 with no problems

The motherboard will, by default, select the lowest RAM speed. You have to manually overclock it (or rather, set the XMS profile and it'll take care of the rest)
