675mx no TXAA?

Go to solution Solved by clementk,

just a Update i tried crysis 3 again and it showed this time :/ maybe it was nvidia optumis that messed up the first time i checked ?

Hi, i got a new  laptop with the 675MX gpu in it. it uses the Nvidia Optumis with the HD4000 (wish i can disable but i cant.).When i go look on nvidia's site it show that the 675mx does suport TXAA and Adaptive Vsync (and it is a kepler GPU) but when i go to nvidia control panal the drop down is not there for TXAA of adaptive vsnyc i am using new 327 drives. I realy want TXAA i dont mind the Adaptive Vsnyc but i really want TXAA

Needs Update

It should be in the global settings. If not, role back your drivers maybe?

Edit: I haven't got a TXAA option for my GPU in the nvidia control panel either. It may be something you enable in application.

Edit Edit: Someone smarter then me will come along soon :P

hello

Okay so TXAA is a very specific Nvidia technology. This means ii wont be supported unless it is specifically coded for by the game developers. This unfortunately means that most games will not support this feature. In this way TXAA is similar to Nviida's other technologies such as PhysX, tessellation, and 3D vision. The list of games with TXAA support is very small (here is the list of games that support TXAA). When you play a game that TXAA is supported by, the game should automatically detect that you have the necessary video card and you should find the option to turn it on and of in your game's graphical settings. Hopes that helps clear things up for you.

TXAA does not show up in the Control Panel it is an in game option as not all games support it.

FXAA supports most games and is an option in the Control Panel.

But Adaptive v-sync should be an option that is available to you, kinda weird that it isn't showing up.
