Hello,

I was simply wondering if you think there would be major driver problems between the 2 cards, or if it should be fine to have both cards in the same rig. Not in crossfire, it's simply to have multiple monitors.

Thank you !

You will probabbly have to have the 270x on the newest crimson drivers, and the 6970 on old legacy drivers, you may have issues with drivers it is hard to determine since this is not tested by amd, I run a 390 and a 8500gt in the same system and do experience some issues and glitches, but nothing major.

Things such as eyefinity are most likely not going to work though, and for the least amount of driver issues you could run the 6970 without drivers using the basic display adapter settings, but it will limit resolution really low, and number of displays to one display.

Well thank you very much ! I will try and get another 6970 if possible, but it's pretty old so it's getting hard to find one at a good price.

Thank you again for the reply !
