Hey guys,

so i just bought a Corsair CX500m for a new build but i was looking at some of the cables that came with it and noticed some of the pins were missing. Is that normal? should i send it back and get a new one? I have attached the pictures of the cables that i have talked about.

thank you for all your help

Those look to be all correct the 24 pin always has one missing pin and the others being sata have only 5 conductors similarly with molex with only 4.

I'm to lazy to check it online, but they look like they are ground pins. I'm not sure, so I would suggest checking a pin out of an atx powersuply.

Sometimes connectors don't have pins in them. Corsair has strict quality control. This would never have passed if something was wrong to this degree. The PSU should be fine, like spark12072001 mentioned they're probably ground pins and Corsair deemed them unnecessary.
