Oneplus 2 not booting! Please help!

I recently got the oxygen OS 3.0.2 update for my phone and went to install it.

I downloaded the software,let it install and it then did the  final reboot of the system except now it won't leave the oneplus logo boot page:

UMX2X6FYDaVzUgGQDmmJ3AEvtQIGxOoEPFcniGSw

I can go into fast boot mode and into recovery mode but even after trying to reboot the phone multiple times and trying it with the phone plugged in or with the plug out it still stays on this screen for over 10 minutes each time

If possible I would like not to wipe the phone but if it's necessary then it is available as a last resort option.

did you try to ask their support? i know it isnt the fastest / best but they might had this issue

my update worked well and runs fine, despite some minor permission problems with apps
