I use one on my LG G3 and I think it is called clockwork or something like that, it has saved my ass many times, its easy to install and has a range of good features

How I would go around doing it would be to plug my phone into my computer and run one of the free recovery programs. I feel I'd be more in control then. Not sure if it would work though. But if all else fails it would be the best option. I'd use Recuva from Piriform, they made CCleaner for instance, I've used it before and its easy to use and recovered most of the files I needed when I accidentally deleted all the pictures I had on my computer. As I said though, not sure if it would work on a phone through a pc, but it should.

I once explained to my girlfriend what true love is. I said, "If you were a shit, I'd put you back in" and to this day, she is still my little shit.

Thanks for our responses and opinions.

The phone's gotten messed up due to some sort of malfunction or malware, so I cant install any apps on it and my intentions are of recovering text messages.

I've tried a few android recovery software's but they were demanding payment for its recovery and I've tried it with recuva, but it couldn't recover text messages.
