Looking to replace my broken Xiaomi Piston 3, have them for about 8 months.

The cable sleeve come off in multiple point and the part where it connects with the 3.5mm jack is probably damaged as I have audio only in the right ear.

Not sure whether to buy the same IEMs or something else.

What I'm looking for:

- balanced or slightly bassy sound

- under £30 (can stretch a bit if it's worth it)

- preferrably on Amazon UK

- flat cable if possible

- no volume control/microphone

- no earhook style

- good quality (especially the cable sleeving) as I keep it in my pockets often

Thanks. :)

Well looks like the suggested IEMs in my price range are the same Xiaomi Piston 3, Zero Audio Tenore (or the bass version) and the Soundmagic E10.

Which one should I go for?

both the Zero Audio Tenore and E10 are known for being good budget in ear headphones. I would not recommend a bass version, because that can easily be some beats like in ear when it comes to sound.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M
