Hey guys. few days ago i had a power cut in my area, after i got the power back i go on my pc and my my displays were messed up. i cleaned them up but while i was doing that i noticed that my monitor refresh rate was 120 and before the power cut it was 144. i tried looking around in the nVidia control panel if i can change it back but i found nothing.. wondering if you guys could please help me out? i bought this monitor not for it to be 120hz but 144 and i feel really annoyed. any advice is appreciated.

maybe try using this to set a custom resolution.

I have a retired SP4 next to the bed for the morning.  I didn't look at the picture good enough.

 

VGA shouldn't be an issue, but he should have this connected via DP.
