Building a system apply to game at ultrawide or 3440*1440

So guys I need help balancing my system specs so if you can rate the PC I have build and even if necessary suggest  replacing an item, so here is what I have compiled:

CPU: i5 6600k

GPU: GTX 1080 founder's edition

CPU cooler: H100 liquid cooler

Monitor: Acer x34 predator

And thanks and the other parts of the build I already choose.

Parts are fine. You will have no problems running games at that res.

Yeah 1080 will be pretty nice for UWQHD.

I've only played about 5 mins of csgo on a ultra wide at the computer shop. Personally for any fps games you should get a nice 144htz monitor.

Now that's some BS. I'd rather get a nice oc'able i5 than a stock i7. Especially since "modern games" only use 4 cores max. (not even really)

the x34 is 100hz ips. i dont think you will notice a difference between 100 and 144hz unless you have really really good eyes.

It pretty much averages out at +/-0 with 4.5ghz I5 vs stock i7.  You are right, the i7 is MASSIVLEY better....

but your paying more if you want a good overclock and the i7 is better for anything but gaming.

i can understand buying a 6500 but nowadays a 6600k doesnt make that much sense.

Where I live prices are 230€ vs 340€. You still need a cooler for both, that's like 30€ for one that is quiet and you can OC with (I wouldn't use stock cooler even with non-k) and you can also get cheap Z170 boards. 

Also if you base our argument on gaming it's kinda silly to say i7 is better for other things. And in most cases (yes, ofc not if you are serious aber rendering) you won't notice a difference.
