Either way, if you undervolted your card any, it'll probably break your stability entirely (not that you even have voltage control without a custom video BIOS anyway).

 

The iGPU however could probably be undervolted some; good luck.

I'm very interested in this. Are you saying that Maxwell mobile GPU's have alternating voltage draws based on load? Randomly thought about a custom Bios with a voltage/load curve where you can customize the amount of mV based on load. LOL. No chance in hell nvidia is ever doing that.

It's why undervolting Maxwell is impossible unless you run a custom vBIOS that forces your voltage to a constant (and in the case of mobile GPUs, unlocks voltage control, as mobile GPUs don't have it on stock vBIOSes even though nVidia lied and said their mobile driver API doesn't have the functionality... which it does).

Cache doesn't provide much benefit, but you might experience something good from undervolting it. Be warned that it's easier to cause instabilities there. If you can leave cache at stock and undervolt the core by -10mV more, then do so.

 

iGPU, yes if it's stable.

I've undervolted and disabled turbo. I didnt see any drop in performance and my laptop ran much cooler and quieter. That's just from my experience of course.
