First Time Builder

 This is branching off from another topic I made.This one is for component choice on a PC in this particular budget range for the following specific needs.

I am building my first PC and need help with the component choice. I am primarily using this PC for gaming but will use it for CAD programs such as Catia and Autodesk as well as Maya. I am a first time PC builder but don't want to upgrade this PC every year or two.  I will be able to upgrade in the future but only if this machine isn't cutting it.

Any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.

$2000 including tower and monitor. OS,Keyboard, and mouse not included in amount but recommendations on choice are welcome

This will be a starter PC build in which I can upgrade the components without having to replace multiple parts because of the platform.

 Light use of CAD programs as in a couple hours a day.

I am coming from console gaming and I want to try out PC gaming.
