Iphone 5s Not charging

My Iphone is having trouble charging lately and sometimes doesnt want to at all. Just cleaned out a bunch of junk from the charger and it still won't work. What should I do with it? (I'm with Verizon btw.)

Could be a hardware level problem. Might need to dissect the phone to fix it.

Definitely not comfy with that. If it was something I had lying around and was able to work on it without any risk of loosing contact with work I would try it. Unfortunately I don't have that luxury.

Have you tried it with another charger and cable to verify its the phone and not the cable/charger at fault?

I'll play around with a few, but it's spotty with a number of chargers and cables.
