So after trying multiple times to install Rainbow Six Siege on my Samsung 10000RPM 2TB HDD (it dosen't have name sticker ob it), which i got from my dads work Brand New, seems to always give me a disk write error. I am trying for the third time to download it but why dose it do this on a new HDD and yes i did format it properly. After it gets to 16.7GB it says disk write error

Yeah I have no idea how to see what partition table type it is from within windows. but essentially the old one is MBR and the newer one is GUID. The MBR system has a max partition size of 2TB and has been known to have issues with drives near that. I normally use ubuntu to write or see what table type a drive uses but there should be a way to see it within windows. Maybe you could wait for someone else to comment here.

Additionally may I suggest making a 50GB partition on that huge drive and trying it on there?
