I prefer the afterburner layout but if im not mistaken Precision has a few more tools

no extra benefits if I use afterburner on a msi card or precision on an evga card?

No, I personally use Afterburner.

in order to avoid any conflicts I wouldn't run any two at the same time, but it's not necessary to uninstall them

I reset everything and then I uninstalled Afterburner then I installed precision and set the exact same values as before, will it work?
