I could imagine it not coming with a stock cooler.

I mean, who buys a unlocked CPU and overclocks on the stock cooler?

Skylake "K" (unlocked) CPU's do not come with a stock cooler, only the locked CPU's do. HEHE

Well there must be BOX version and then also some other.

If you are getting unlocked CPU, you have to get something else than stock cooler. Otherwise you are not worthy to be in the PC master race group.

That is why i asked. In the shop where i am going to buy it they have only BOX version and no TRAY version..

I bought my 6600k from mircocenter and it was in a box and there was not a stock cooler in it.

For the K versions, the "box" just contains the CPU and the warranty/data sheet - no cooler.
