Bluetooth help!

Hello all,

I recently got myself a bluetooth dongle for my pc which doesn't have bluetooth. I brought the dongle so I could use my ps4 controller with my pc for racing games and ect however i cannot make it work. The company i bought the dongle is from bluesoleil and I downloaded their software as required. So far I can connect my ps4 controller to their software but whenever I want to use the DS4 windows program (which allows ps4 controller to look like an xbox 360 one) it doesn't show up any devices that are connected. What shall i do to make DS4 windows recognise my controller.?

Can you see the controller through Windows' device manager?

You could just connect the PS4 controller with a mini-usb (or is it micro-usb?) to your computer. I have it connected via a usb and DS4Windows.

That's probably the problem, for these type of programs you need Windows to see the device.

Check this:

Is the controller connecting to windows at all? You should go into (windows 10 atleast) settings, blutooth, and find it connected yada yada. For those controllers its something along the lines of hold share for 5 seconds then add holding options for for another 5 seconds or so until it starts rapidly blinking

....NVM glad you got it working

Hi,

I know this is an old trend already but I'm kind of having the same issue.

I bought an Avantree dongle which works with the BlueSoleil Driver. I managed to pair the Dualshock 4 with it but it doesn't appear on Devices and so DS4 Windows cannot recognize it (same goes for VBus). If I try by cable it all works perfectly fine, but I want to make this bluetooth dongle work. If you have any ideas I would gladly accept any advice.

I am using Windows 7. The controller bluetooth works perfectly since I tried it on another computer and it works.

Thank you
