linux VM ?

can anyone recommend a SAFE Linux virtual machine download to try? i need to try to figure it out. so i can ditch Windows.

- ubuntu or its derivatives

- if you need to ask this question, you wont be dropping windows any time soon. if you cant figure out what you need to do from the previous two points i dont think linux will be for you all together.

I haven't seen any unsafe ones from trusted distros, but then again I don't go looking for trouble. best thing you can do is install a Linux iso to a usb or disc then run it live without installing so you can EXPERIENCE OUT OF VIRTUALNESS. Which is cool.

it's designed like windows kinda but really like linux

im pretty sure its actually an android os though

You should really try to install it yourself if your plan is abandoning windows
