I have an old PC which I use it as a server for my 4TB of lifetime memories and it has some problems which I couldn't solve as an IT

Specs:

Intel core 2 duo E7500

GA-P41-ES3G gigabyte mobo

2x4 gigs of ddr2 ram at 800mhz

6 random hard drives which are connected via PCI-SATA connector and onboard Sata connector

CD drive which runs extremely slow(cd drive runs smooth on other pc's)

Problem:

I haven't touched this pc for a while and now I struggle to even get it -boot windows,

When I try to install windows from disc, It is really slow and you can hear the cd drive spinning in low RPMs later I bought another cd drive and still slow so no problem at cd drive.

After waiting for a while I install windows 7 and when it starts to boot from hard drive it start giving this error for split-second and then it disappears(shown in photo)

It keeps booting and giving this error infinantely. I tried unpluging PCI-SATA and only keeping 1 drive plugged into directly mobo still this problem.

Interesting part starts here: I tried installing win7 into same hard drive BUT changing to my high spec pc(i7,8gb ram,gtx760,z97 msi) and magically it worked and I successfully booted and even opened the desktop. But when I tried to boot from the old server-ish pc it gave the same error. I can get in BIOS and set values(Never overclocked).I scanned each hard drive by plugging them into my high spec pc using super anti spyware and windows defender and no possible threats...I also ran chkdsk and It says unable to scan disk because it is locked????IMG_5282.PNG

If you're having problems installing Windows it might be a problem with the motherboard. I had a problem similar to this about a year ago and I had to get my motherboard RMA'd to fix it. Obviously you want be able to do that but there are plenty of motherboards for that chip on ebay for like $20 so it's worth a shot to try and change that out since it's not to expensive. Although I don't know if you have the same type of used market where you live as we do in the US. But it could also just be the harddrive you are trying to use doesn't work. Maybe take another harddrive that you don't mind formatting and try to install it to that? Also maybe try using a USB boot drive to install? It would just be a sata port that's not wanting to work properly.

If you can try and get a different motherboard if that's anywhere near affordable. Sorry you're having such terrible luck m8.

Really don't know what that means can you explain it to me or recommend smt

The on-board controller that handles the SATA ports might be dead
