Hardware failure test

Hi, are there any method to check for hardware failure ? Just bought 2nd hand laptop, want to confirm if hardware are all good

You can always use an aida 64 stress test to see if anything causes the test to fail. Or you can use the windows hardware tests that are built in.

Try to turn it on after you charge it if doesn't turn on its broken

You can run stress tests to see how good thermal paste and heatstink is,also chkdsk for harddrive errors,plug all usb/video/audio ports to see if they work and use speed fan( http://www.almico.com/speedfan451.exe ) to see stats.Also check battery life!!

The laptop is working fine. Just want to see if there are minor hardware failure that i might not notice
