So I am posting about this worried about my 980ti sagging in my case mainly due to the fact that the back plate is hitting the RMA slots where you lock memory in place. But if it's an issue I am looking for a solution, all I can come up with for a fix is grinding down the locks or getting a new motherboard.

Rofl, funny how such a high-end GPU looks in a rather mid-ranged system considering the mobo, the cooler, the case and the PSU :P

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Motherboard: MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION
AIO: Corsair H150i Pro RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic PSU: Corsair RM850x White

Normally the solution is to prop up the GPU with something, but clearly it's already pressed against the locks so that would not be advisable.  You could try cutting off some plastic from the locks, but be careful you don't break anything or take off so much that they stop working for holding the RAM in, or become impossible to open.

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I don't think that's a bend. I thinks it's slanted from the back to the front. amazing it fit in the slot. can you take the back plate off the card?

looks like the olden days when manufacturers just pumped stuff out without thinking of the end user.. You can try trimming the tabs off the ram. cover the board up so the little bits don't end up where they shouldn't be. I'd also zip tie the back end of the card up so it won't sag under it's own weight.

This is on of the reasons i try to buy mobo's with a 1x slot as first slot.
