Usually I recommend LED with regular fans as LED ones aren't always the best option out there. Not to mention LED strips tend to light components more evenly.

It would depend on if the glow would bother you or not for gaming/video sessions. But yeah glowy lights are cool.

I like colored fans ( at least one somewhere in the case so I can tell the machine is on.

I use Led on all fans and led strips but agree with WL the choice of led fans is rather limited.
