Budget & Location

I am located in the UK and Budget is really flexible, not bothered about the cost as long as it will be a noticeable improvement. But am bothered about value for money e.g When I chose my new graphics card I went for a 980 ti instead of a Titan X

Aim

Mainly Gaming at Max settings but also use for 3D modelling on Solid Works

Monitors

Currently have 1 ASUS PG279Q but may add another monitor in the future.

Why are you upgrading?

I originally bought the PC in Aug 2011 using www.overclockers.co.uk system configurator. Since then I have Upgraded the Graphics Card, added an SSD, upgraded the CPU Cooler and currently have the CPU overclocked to just under 3.8GHz.

I am just wondering what you guys think I should upgrade next and what I should upgrade to?

Here are my current specs: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/TheFatManRunnin/saved/b2YV3C

Ram does play a factor. Maybe get another 2x4GB kit

I would think about upgrading your cpu/mobo/ram next as it's the oldest tech in your rig. Maybe wait until amd has it's new cpus out later in the year or go for a skylake build.

I am a paid professional, but only when I am at work...and getting paid.

Yeah, I posted on another site too and they recommended the same thing. Currently looking at going to a i7 6700k. Will obviously then be changing motherboard as well which means I can go to DDR4 :)
