Link Steam & GoG to unlock games you own on Steam in GoG

You can now connect your GoG account with your Steam account. Certain games (depends on game developer) can be duplicated in your GoG account DRM Free! It sounds like the number of eligible games will grow and change over time. If you're in "becoming dismayed with Steam" camp, this may be a good starting option for you.

Notes

• GoG's site implies this is a 1:1 permanent link, so consider the future as well.
• No you can't buy it on Steam, dupe it on GoG, and return it on Steam and keep the game for free.

• GoG will be using the Steam API to fetch the data. As well:

Since the list of games available for this seems to be a developer/publisher decision, it'll probably come down to who's awesome and who's money-hungry.

Btw, if you have Witcher 1 or 2 you can get GOG copies as well. It lists Witcher 1 there but not 2.
