retro gpu for emulator rig

i got a pc for free from my school. i wanted to use the case for modding but i had to find out that dell mobos are mirrored

i also found this retro (aka shit) graphic card in it and was thinking if i could use it for an emulator build. does any of you know up to which console i could emulate?

I would be far more inclined to go for a much newer GPU, emulators such as Dolphin now support DX12, it helps a lot.

Low end DX12 GPU will be enough.

A new GPU will help as it could have HDMI etc. You can get some cheap cards second had that will do the job perfectly.

it seems that this thing is useless (even though they sell them for 15$ on ebay). ill benhcmark it anyway just for lols
