Hey guyz this is sci from India

My pc (office) has a 750ti (zotac) in it and it is unable to keep up with quite a few things that I want to do.. Also the current prices for Nvidia founders edition are around rs 71000 (USD 1050) the MSRP is Rs 53000  (about Usd 780) Should i wait  for price to come down.. I called/emailed  Asus and Nvidia and they told me prices are high as supply is pretty  slim and larger shipments are set to arrive in 1st or 2nd week of June.

Also is founders edition be all end all

Or are AiB models going to be better (looking forward to asus Strix  and Gigabyte G1... Any 1)

Plz revert any help is much appreciated

Is upgrading from a 750ti to a 1080 worth it? Yes
But a 1070 would be just as good of an upgrade IMO.
Will the prices drop a lot over the next few weeks? Doubt it.
Should you wait for more third party options? I would.

First question: Why do you need a GTX 1080? There are tons of other GPUs to upgrade than a GTX 1080.

Your resolution, budget and use case will dictate what GPU is the best for you.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

GTX 1070 will be able to handle 60fps on 1440p.

But even GTX 1080 won't give you 144fps on 1440p.

Unless you lower settings ofc.

Primary Use : gaming (1440p/144hz ultra /high settings )

Secondary use : video editing (YouTube and twitch)

I dont have the budget for 74k (current  price) but i can afford  them at 55k.

I am planning on buying a second HAF XM or Corsair 780t or NZXT phantom 420 so Airflow and card length is almost of a non issue

Not worth it, however way you look at it.

Wait for the prices to come down, and forget the Founders Edition.

For your requirements, the GTX 1080 seems alright. Make sure your system is capable enough for 1440P 144Hz gaming.

Evga :not available in India

Gigabyte : service center is in my city

(5 minutes tops from my house)

Asus : offers " pick from home"  to premium customers (i have tried it with zenfone 2)

Zotac : drop off at retailer and wait for a call

Gigabyte make fast cards, but their customer service sucks. If you want proof search this forum. People constantly complaining. I'd go ZOTAC or EVGA.

This is how they fare

PNY and others are nit available

NEVER tried  MSI before (available here)
