My dad is trying to clear some storage on his MacBook with PCIe based 128gb ssd. I have benefited from it but my dad claims it will only download a virus. Also from the words of a "knowledgable" apple employee, "third party clients such as CCleaner 99% of the time only contain malware and only claim to help". It's helped me but I just want some backup on this

C-C-Cleaner is not malware....

Eh, used it for Windows. Was decent, but was essentially for me just a more competent Windows Uninstaller.

its not malware, but its not something I recommend either, i prefer to do it all manually to make sure everything happens the way I want it
