So, i am really really curious as to what custom 1080's everyone is looking at the most.  I am drawn to the asus strix, but i truely have no idea which one to choose.  Price really isn't an issue, more than i am looking for performance.  I want a custom card that stays cool and will last a very long time.  (Just built a $2500 setup built around the 1080 $3200 preferably after i buy it) because i went from a 560ti i5 ivy bridge dinosaur and pretty much went with the best of the best.  I need some opinions on what partner card i should go for.  Long gaming sessions, max graphics.  144hz monitors in the future.

I like the look of the Gigabyte one, but I don't like the 1080 as a card in it self.

Don't the KiNGPiN cards have the reputation of reaching their optimal performance when running watercooled? I heard they OC'd really well but consequently got really hot.
