Locked core voltage on my gtx 770?

Go to solution Solved by Levent,

download msi afterburner 3.0 Beta 15+

http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/msi_afterburner_beta_download.html

this version also supports the control of NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan, 760, 770 and 780. If you get the card, you may want to try it.

So today I set off to overclock my gpu after having some great results overclocking my CPU yesterday. But it seems like my gpu has locked volts? So i can't change it using MSI afterburner. And i have of course ticked it off in the settings. But to me it seems illogical to have the core voltage locked on such a high end card. The cards i'm using are two identical Zotac gtx 770 amp edition which is a factory-overclocked card. So my real question is if there is a way to check if it's locked? and if there is a way to unlock it. I don't really care about warranty and all that shit, as long as it doesn't fuck up my card by just unlocking it.

And i can change the clock speeds, but i guess that's working fine on a locked card?

Note: i built my pc myself, so no other companies have touched my cards.

GPU clocks (factory clocked)

Core Clock: 1150

Boost Clock: 1202

Specs:

Zotac gtx 770 amp 2-way SLI

Asus rampage VI extreme

i7-4770k  @4.9ghz

Kingston HyperX beast 8gb 2400mhz

XFX proseries 1250w PSU

Win7 Ultimate

Asus maximus VI extreme         i7-4770k @4.9ghz       Zotac gtx 770 amp editon @1260/7300 2-way SLI         Kingston HyperX Beast 8gb 2400mhz          Kingston HyperX 240gb SSD           2tb hdd               Nzxt Kraken x60 with noctua high pressure fans (push)        Nzxt phantom 820         XFX proseries black edition 1250w gold plus psu         And a shit load of red led fans :D

Nvidia locks the volatge on their GPUs.

Even the Lightning 680 has been VLocked after it came out, making it quite pointless.

The only way you'll get voltage control is custom BIOS. Which might brick your card.

Precision X = Afterbruner witha different skin ^^

Both are skinned versions of River Tuner [or something it's called]

And ya, there was this huge ghetto bout the lighning cards being locked after a certain date of production as Nvidia obviously got too many voltage related RMAs and just locked it to 1.175V. [Might have been 1.075V not sure].

Running the 680s and I hate their fucking guts ^^
