I need help with a rig that is no longer powering on for whatever reason. Here's the details.

I have a rig that I bought off my friend that's been lying around lately.

The original specs of it was:

Motherboard: Asrock H97M-ITX/AC

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k (stock cooler)

RAM: 8X8 (16GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600mhz

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC

SSD: Intel 240GB (Whatever the model was I forgot)

HDD: 500GB Barracuda 2.5"

Case: Silverstone ML08

PSU: 450W Fractal Design Integra

OS: Windows 10

The PC wasn't being put to much use, and was lying around for a while and some parts were moved around for other purposes. Here are the current specs of the PC.

Motherboardl: Asrock H97M-ITX/AC

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258

RAM: 4X4 (8GB) Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz

GPU: NONE (CURRENTLY BEING USED TEMPORARILY IN ANOTHER PC BUT WILL EVENTUALLY BE RE-INSTALLED IN THIS ONE)

SSD: 120GB SanDisk SSD Plus

500GB: Barracuda 2.5"

Case: Silverstone MLO9

PSU: 450W Fractal Design Integra

OS: None currently installed ( haven't decided on what to choose yet)

Some parts were taken out, and some other parts were put into it, however after installing the G3258 and the SSD, the PC would refuse to boot up.

Prior to switching out all the parts from the original build list, the PC was working 100%, and I even played a couple games on it for a few hours before returning to my main rig.

The PC sat there for a while, not being used for a couple weeks while it sat there waiting for a purpose in life.

The different parts were put in, and the other parts were re-purposed in other builds.

Here's how it went from here.

> Attempted to boot PC for the first time.

> No lights, no power, no nothing. Silence.

> Thinks the front panel connectors are plugged in wrong, but that wouldn't make sense since the PC hasn't been touched since it was a working PC.

> Thinks it's a power supply issue.

> Gets a spare PSU from a bin full of parts and hook it up. (It was a 450W Antec PSU that was used in my old gaming PC)

> Hooks it up, still refuses to turn on or show any signs of power

> Check Asrock forums for help. Someone suggests that I should clear CMOS.

> Clears the CMOS

> Hooks everything back up

> Attempts to boot, still doesn't boot

> sadface

> Then goes on to do every basic thing that could maybe for whatever reason be causing the PC to fail. (Re-seated the CPU, Re-seated the RAM, Switched around positions of the RAM sticks, Re-seated the front panel connectors, etc)

The PC still won't turn on or show any signs of power, and I am completely clueless of how to go about getting the PC to boot.

Please help me with this issue and may Lord Gaben shine his everlasting light upon you.
