Problems with the r390x

Hello, I've got a problem with my new GPU I received yesterday.

When i want to play GTA V there are lags even while im playing on normal settings.

Maybe my PSU is to weak for it but I'm only a casual and need help :(

 

CPU: i5-4690

GPU: Asus Readon r9 390x

MBO: MSI B85-G41 PC Mate

RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3

PSU: 600W BeQiuet

What's your CPU? Did you install the proper drivers?

And you have a 4690K. Did you turn off power efficiency in "AMD Radeon Settings"?

Ok good. Did you turn off the setting in the control panel?

It should have installed with the driver. Right click anywhere on the desktop, and it should pop up. Go to global settings and turn it off the power efficiency.

Do you have MSAA on or something? That murders frames, even a 980 Ti with 8xMSAA at 1080p could go to 45FPS.

after a few minutes it started again and now while im playing Tabletop simulator the GPU usage shows weird things. (Also in GTA)

Just go into settings, and enable "Unified GPU monitoring" or something similar to fix usage. It's a bug and until you enable the unified GPU thing, everything GPU usage reports is false. You sure you aren't thermal throttling in GTAV?

I'm now using msi afteburner and enabled it.

The temperature is by 60°C I'll test my card now by using 3D Mark.
