http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bTvD4C - list of parts, feel free to add any suggestions or improvements that would enhance performance without much additional cost.

I also need help to see if i will require to buy any additional cables with all these parts.

Finally if anyone could recommend a CPU cooler or tell me if i really require one that'd be helpful.

Better PSU, i7 isn't needed for gaming, 390 > 970 OR wait until 1070/1080 come out and better PSU.

I agree, but with 1070 just around the corner, I would wait for that. It will kill the 390, but will sit in that nice bang for buck range.

i know what you said, but it doesn't make sense for the OP to buy a 390 right now

Depends on the needs of the OP. If he wants his computer now, it would make sense to buy a 390 but I did say OR wait for the 1070/80.

moved to new build planning

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
