A lot of online detector tools aren't perfect at what they do.  I'd confirm for yourself using something like GPU-Z what your hardware actually is and go based on that.  If it tells you you need 3.5 and you have 4, you know you're good, even if it thinks you only have 3

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

RIght, I figured it might be a site defect but I wanted to check. I'll go see about this GPUZ thing.

well, clearly you've got 4 GB of VRAM, (and a real 4 GB not like some cards I could mention), so whether that site thinks you need 3 or 4, you should be OK

Ah, OK, I wouldn't trust that site (The Can I run it one, Lightshot is fine but I prefer imgur while we're on the subject ;))

Very strange...

I say its a problem between your card and the controller in the cpu... try this:

Use this tool to completely remove your AMD drivers (important you use this tool and that it is used in safe mode)

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then boot back into normal windows and re install your graphics drivers, you can also remove and re seat your graphics card at this point for good measure.

Tip: its not 1997 no need to blow into the slot :P

See if this helps any!

Peace xD

Yea I figured, I just wanted to check with you guys, lot of people on here are super nice. I know that sometimes system memory can be reserved or taken to certain hardware so I didn't know if vram could do something like that or w/e, I'm kinda dumb when it comes to video cards, this is my first one besides a crummy 750m I used to have in a laptop.

I don't know of any situation that lets you use VRAM as system RAM... usually only the other way around.
