Yeah dude go for the razer! I have used it briefly and it really is as sexy in real life as it looks on Linus' desk aha

No seriously, he rounded up that for the same sort of money it does out weigh its competition so maybe spend just a tad more on a slightly better one or possibly last years model? Or just wait a few more months for the halloween deals to start rearing up! xD

Happy shopping!

Stay away from razer and Acer those laptops are craptops. Oh and good luck gaming on a iGPU with a dual core CPU. How big do you want the screen to be? How much can it weigh?

What can I get for around 850-1000 dollars as a laptop that can handle heavy web browsing, light gaming, coding, on-demand networking needs, etc (it stuff) razer blade stealth?

Avoid Razer at all costs - very poor thermal performance, crap QC and the keyboard on the BS is simply bad

you can't really game on a dual core CPU with Intel HD graphics. What games are you planning to play?

Cs go nothing intensive

The dell xps 13 with iris pro, you can play csgo on that, but not that high settings, but it can. You should be looking for a laptop with a dGPU, but since you want 14 inch and max 1k. It is going to be hard, because you already pay a premium for getting something that is smaller than 15.6 inch. If it can be a little bigger than 14inch maybe the xps 15. It is a little hard for me to recommend things when I don't know in what part of the world you live, so something might be cheaper for you than it is for me.
