I don't think you can mod a ps3 without the equivalent of jtag or RGH on it.

138 is a good number.

Jtag is basically in really basic terms shorting out and connect things on the motherboard so you can install things from USB and what not. But after a week MS or sony will notice and you have to buy another key vault which are like $20. Those you flash and hope they stick then you continue. The process is very long and expensive and usually doesn't work. I would stick to PC modding
