Arch Linux suspend not working

In order to use hibernate in Arch, your swap size must be the same as your RAM size.

Try putting "resume=/dev/sda<whatever your swap partition number is>" into the boot arguments (press E on the Arch Linux entry in the GRUB bootloader)
