Hello I like to make videos for my youtube channel and I'm currently using Cyberlink Power Director 12 and I was wondering what other software is good for video editing and I'd perfer a one time pay thing to buy the software and have it forever and not have to pay a subscription unless the subscription is very inexpensive

What are you trying to do that Power Director 12 can't do? I have the 14 version and I love it. If you're looking for something more professional there's adobe premiere.

You can try using DaVinci Resolve 12 (free version) which is nearly as capable as the paid version.  It will be a lot better than Vegas.
