Hi,

a friend of mine recently bought a new laptop (HP Pavilion 15-ab120ng).

Everytime after rebooting the wifi works for a few minutes but then stops. It looses connection to the network and only deactivating and reactivating the wifi adapter helps.

After that it works flawlessly until the next reboot.

Has anyone come across similar problems on his laptop?

What could help solve the problem?

Is it a broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2x2 Wi-Fi Adapter or similar?

If so swap it for an intel 7260 AC

No it's an Intel Wireless-AC 3165

What's the date of the driver you have installed right now? If you go via the HP web site they will only provide you with what they can offer but if you go via intel's web site you can often find much more up to date drivers

I work with HP laptops at work so I've seen this type of thing before...

Nope it didn't :(

The Problem is back but changed a little bit. When the Connection is lost and you go into the settings, the Wifi Adapter is already deactivated..
